Fulcrum Australia is looking for Volunteers

The FULCRUM AUSTRALIA campaign has three phases

  1. Alerting politicians (particularly those in marginal seats) that closing all Asylum Seeker detention centres is important to voters.
  2. Approaching all registered candidates for the Senate and top 20 marginal lower house seats in the 2016 election to answer the Fulcrum Australia survey. Use this information to direct preferences to candidates who are most likely to support this cause.
  3. Distributing HOW TO VOTE cards on election day.

Phase 1

Volunteers will:

  • For those Senators and MP’s who have not filled in the Questionnaire on line:
  1. Approach their Senator to ask for answers to the Fulcrum Australia survey
  2. If the volunteer is in one of the top 20 marginal seats approach the sitting MP to ask for their answers to the Fulcrum Australia survey
  3. Fill in the Senator or MP’s name, constituency and answers on the electronic survey accessed through the

FULCRUM AUSTRALIA SURVEY LINK

on the Fulcrum Australia site on the Questionnaire Tab

  • Contact friends and networks:
  1. to inform them about Fulcrum Australia and rally support
  2. to form a team of helpers to hand out HOW TO VOTE cards on election day

Phase 2

Fulcrum Australia will approach all registered candidates for the Senate and top 20 marginal seats in the 2016 election to answer the Fulcrum Australia survey.

Volunteers will:

  1. Approach those who do not answer the Fulcrum Australia survey on line and ask for answers to the Fulcrum Australia survey
  2. Fill in the candidates name, constituency and answers on the electronic survey accessed through the

Phase 3

Volunteers will distribute HOW TO VOTE cards in their electorate
